GB Lounge is a modular lounge sofa system produced by Karakter Copenhagen and designed by Dutch industrial designer Gijs Bakker. Originally created as an entry for a Dunlop foam design competition, GB Lounge began as a simple piece of foam bent at a 90-degree angle and set into a metal frame. The result is a relaxed, low-slung chair and sofa with an overstuffed silhouette that invites comfort.
First nicknamed “the Levi’s Chair,” Bakker’s intention was for the seating system to embody the same ease and familiarity as a favorite pair of jeans — a contrast to the formal and rigid designs of the previous generation. With its updated version, the GB Lounge now features subtle feet that lift it slightly off the ground, improving both ergonomics and aesthetics. The GB Lounge is available as a one-seater lounge chair and can be expanded into a modular seating system using connector elements.

Fabric
Tensing fabric is boucle textile from Cassina, available in five colors: Bianco, Perla, Corallo, Caffé, and Acciaio. Tensing offers a soft yet durable finish that complements the informal and inviting shape of the GB Lounge. Content: 36% Cotton, 32% Acrylic, 24% Viscose, 8% Polyester.
Eremo fabric is a textile from Cassina, available in six colors: Beige, Perla, Talpa, Ruggine, Cielo, and Oliva. Eremo offers a soft textile blend with a durable finish that complements the informal and inviting shape of the GB Lounge. Content: 45% Acrylic, 33% Polyester, 22% Wool.
Look fabric is boucle textile from Cassina, available in five colors: Bianco, Corda, Cemento, Pietra, and Senape. Lok offers an irregular, soft yet durable finish that complements the informal and inviting shape of the GB Lounge. Content: 34% Viscose, 33% Acrylic, 17% Wool, 4% Linen, 4% Cotton.

The colors on screen and fabric dye batches may vary. We have physical samples of the Tensing fabric in all five colors available for viewing in our store.
GB Lounge can be used as a standalone chair or combined using connectors to create larger seating arrangements.
The modules comes with discreet feet that lift it slightly from the ground for enhanced comfort

Shipping
Gratis frakt i Norge på alle bestillinger på småvarer som er på lager, over 1000 kr. Fraktkostnad beregnes i kassen.
Standard behandlingstid for alle varer på lager er 1–3 dager, i tillegg til posttjenestens leveringstid.
De fleste av våre møbler holdes ikke på lager og har en viss leveringstid angitt i produktbeskrivelsen.
Returer og ikke-refunderbare produkter
Produkter som er på lager (inkludert alt fra Tekla, selv om produktet ikke er på lager) kan returneres innen 14 dager. Dette gjelder det meste av hjemmeutstyret vårt og alle produktene fra Tekla.
